SB-C Docking Station Turns Your Device's USB or Thunderbolt 3 Port into 14 New Ports This universal USB-C dock with PD Charging expands the potential of your Windows laptop, Chromebook, smartphone or PC's USB-A, USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. Connect the docking station using the included USB-C cable, and add 14 ports to your device: (2) 4K HDMI (2) 4K DisplayPort RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet (4) USB 3.0 USB 3.0 with BC 1.2 USB-C PD Charging USB-C data (2) 3.5 mm stereo Transmits Crystal-Clear True 5K/4K Video and Digital Audio with 4:4:4 Color The HDMI and DisplayPort (DP) outputs support true 4K resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. When both DP outputs are connected to one DP monitor, that monitor will support 5K video up to 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz. DisplayLink Technology Allows Connection of Multiple Displays By downloading and installing the proper DisplayLink drivers to your host device, you may connect two external displays simultaneously. This allows you to display the image from the host computer on both monitors, extend your host desktop across both with different windows open on each, or combine all into one large display as a video wall. Connect multiple monitors (dual 4K @ 60 Hz DP; dual 4K @ 60 Hz HDMI; or 4K @ 60 Hz DP and 4K @ 60 Hz HDMI) in Extended and Mirror modes. Note: Mac OS laptops or computers will only extend to one monitor. The others will be mirrored. USB Hub Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals One USB-C and five USB-A ports accept USB peripherals, such as flash drives, mice, keyboards and printers. All support fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. One USB-A port also supports BC 1.2 charging with 5V 1.5A (7.5W) of power dedicated to fast-charging your mobile device. PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Notebook, Tablet or Other Device Connect your host device to the USB-C Power Delivery port, which supports PD 2.0 charging of connected PD Charging-compliant devices, such as laptops, Kindles, iPads and Android smartphones, up to 20V 4.25A (85W). The included power supply, when plugged into an AC outlet, provides the charging power. Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers. Connects Speakers, Microphone and Other Audio Equipment Two 3.5 mm mini stereo jacks are convenient for connecting speakers, headphones and/or a microphone to your workstation. You can listen to music or record the latest episode of your podcast. Anti-Theft Lock Protects the Docking Station When You Aren't Around Connect a user-supplied computer/laptop security cable lock (not included) to this K-lock port to protect your source device against theft. Detachable USB-C Cable Connects in Either Direction Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible USB-C male connector plugs into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for an instant connection every time. A USB-C to USB-A adapter is included for connecting the docking station to your host device's USB-A port.
